Welcome!
I'm Frugal Trenches (no, not my real name!) a lover of natural, simple and frugal living! I use this space and my camera to document a beautiful, purposeful, downshifted and abundant life! Life is not always simple (oh how I wish it was!) but it is always rich and I hope this space demonstrates beauty and joy!
If you have a question, feel free to leave it in the comments! I read and appreciate every comment and will reply to questions within the comment section, even if it takes a day or two (or three, but whose counting!).

An Important Financial Lesson
I made a mistake this week when I did my weekly shop and I thought I’d share it to show I really don’t have it all together when it comes to the frugal life, but the good thing is I learned … Continue reading

Frugal Friday
Every corner you turn there are shops/restaurants/cafes/pharmacies/chemists, all of who sell food. Purchasing food has become so easy, no longer do we need to bake muffins, make sandwiches or fry our own chips. If we run out of bread, no … Continue reading

Things Happening At My House Thursday
Bullet Style… If anyone had told me moving my routine up (as in earlier) by 30-40 minutes in the morning would be as challenging & tiring as this, I wouldn’t have believed them! Because of the new routine I’m staying much … Continue reading
