Oh no! Feel better soon, FT. Hubby just went through a bout of pneumonia himself; came down with it 48 hours before Christmas. :( It’s no fun. Drink lots of liquids and rest! Said a prayer for your week to be as gentle and stress-free as possible.

I hope you feel better soon. And you need to forget about those 2 cleaning tasks on your to do list. They are not going anywhere and right now you need to look out for your health. Take care

  4. Jo says:

I agree with Fiona. Focus on REST, drink fluids and love the little ones!

  5. Mitty says:

Praying you will feel better soon. I also agree with Fiona. Lose the extra tasks–this flu has been nasty, and opportunistic infections are taking their toll. The more you rest, the sooner you will regain your health, as opposed to just being able to drag your body around. Also make that walk a short one–more a breath of fresh air than actual exercise. Pneumonia is a serious illness, so please take care of yourself. Blessings.

Sending hugs and prayers. Hope you feel better soon.

  7. Joyful says:

If you have pneumonia you really shouldn’t push yourself. I think there are probably some things on your list that could wait until you are feeling better (family hikes, blogging). Your health is really #1 since you have little ones to care for. I’ll add my prayer for you to those of others. Hugs.xx

  8. Mum of Three says:

Oh my, that’s not good dear.

Whilst I applaud your efforts on goals, a great inspiration, I along with your other ‘global sisters’ agree that dropping the cleaning & hiking could be of benefit to a quicker recovery. Could the little FT’s get their hike with others?

    Rest, Rest, Rest………..

    Wish you a speedy recovery.

    Blessings x

  9. Maria says:

FT – I’m always wary of giving advice / sounding like I’m telling people what to do online, as I know how easy it is to do, when we feel like we know someone through their blog… and how intrusive it can be for you, if what we say doesn’t chime with you, but…
I would agree with what others have said – make resting and taking care of yourself a priority, even for 1 week, and think of it as a forward investment – you will be able to take care of your two little ones so much better once you are healed.

  10. mummyto2 says:

Thinking of you. Please make sure you rest as much as possible, now & in the next few weeks. Your body is telling you to slow down, so don’t push yourself too hard. I prescribe rest & lots of hugs with your children & cats !
    Love to you all x

  11. Hoping that you get well soon. Will pray for you and your family.
