I mentioned a bit of what I was up to during my blog break, but I neglected to mention meeting Roy & Hayley Cropper in a pub. Oh yes my friends, it was a bit like being in the Rovers Return, Coronation Street! The actress who plays Hayley has to be the friendliest, loveliest person, who made me feel like I was sitting there having a cup of tea with my mum and auntie. Also the fact we were in the pub made me think at any moment Deirdre would walk through the doors & Jack Duckworth would be at the table next to us.
I will admit I have met a heck of a lot of celebrities (accidentally, I am not the type of person to attend any kind of fan events/screenings etc) and I have never in my life* been star struck like I was when I walked into a pub. As Julie (aka Hayley) began chatting to me about life in general (as you do!) I could not even adequately answer her. She may have thought I was mute
*Okay, there was one other time. It may have involved being in the same aisle in a shop as Richard Armitage. But my star struck moments are certainly reserved for a fair few.

Wow! How fabulous to meet such great actors/characters! People are drawn to you FT!
SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!! You have all the luck!! How far behind is Corrie there??
We are about 9 months behind, which means we are literally at the point now we were at when I left the UK! I watch Corrie more here than I ever did there.
I remember the Richard Armitage thing. I still think it’s a sign
Oh, I heard them being interviewed on Q last week and thought of you!
That’s so nice that you got to meet them!
Do you mean Metro Morning? I heard them on there but not Q
Oops, yes I mean Metro Morning!
