Weekending

Firstly, I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to all the wonderful people who commented on my Christmas Angel to an Orphan Program and agreed to make or buy a couple of pieces of clothing for babies and children in orphanages! I will email everyone next week (once more people join) with further details and the picture and info of the baby you’ve been matched with :) ! To answer your questions - yes please feel free to link on facebook and twitter and email your friends; every single pair of baby leggings will keep those little legs warm! Also, I know my friends who care for the babies will read that post and feel incredible encouragement that people care! When you are alone working overseas, helping those in desperate situations, you can feel exceptionally alone and knowing people you don’t even know care enough to help, well it makes each day easier! So a massive thank you again! And if you haven’t yet signed up but want to, please comment on the post below!

And as for this weekend?? Well, the park above is where I plan to be lost in thought for many many many hours this weekend, a much-needed reprieve from the indoors! Other plans include matching sponsors with babies, time with people I love, long walks, photo taking and resolving my laundry issue [why oh why is it so easy to wash it but so difficult to then deal with the folding & ironing? Grr!]. This is my last weekend in this cute little city I’ve so enjoyed, so I plan to hit all my favourite spots! And yes, there will (of course) be classics reading and I believe the latest library DVD Little Dorrit will be viewed! And if any of you are Matthew Macfadyen (aka the 2005 Pride & Prejudice’s Mr Darcy) fans, you’ll probably enjoy a little swooning if you watch it too!

Happy Weekending to you my friends!
