August Goals

I am about to begin a marathon, so August for me is about training for the marathon. I need to get to a place where I have energy, enthusiasm, motivation and did I mention energy? All this means I need a plan, beyond just stop banging my head & get my list of things to do done!

The goals for August are:

Read

Health

  • Keep a water consumption journal
  • Gym 15 x [join when I move]
  • Swim 25 x (3/25)

Professional

  • Apply 50 jobs + in new location [need a job asap and currently stats are 1/57 jobs you apply for you get....]

Fellowship

  • Find a new Church
  • Join a Bible Study
  • Start a weekly prayer chain with details of aspects of my marathon that need a great deal of prayer

Making/Creating

  • Sew something….maybe cushion covers? or baby trousers?
  • Find a free knitting, sewing, quilting or crochet class/group
  • Make a plan for apple & tomato harvesting in September

Love

  • Hug special people tightly and tell them I love them…
  • Find a new volunteer position
  • Write a daily thankful journal

    My goal is to get through my text book for a course I am taking, Canadian Securities. I need this course to be able to sell Mutual Funds.
    I plan to write my exam no later than October.

    I also plan to pick a ton of blackberries and try to have a lot of fun with my son before he starts his 1st year of school this September.

    Great goals! Lets see, mine are:

    Sit in on one of my husbands classes
    Install bookshelf
    Organize garage
    Put in a clothes line
    Spend time with God each day
    Exercise each day

  6. I must have missed that you’re moving. Congrats! And I’m very impressed on the marathon run. Best of luck on that; my biggest fitness goals are making sure to take a walk everyday. With the heat what it is, though, I’ve failed miserably even at that!
