Grateful, Thankful, Blessed…Canadian Edition

  • I am thankful I am Canadian and British. Best of both I tell ya; although I wouldn’t say no to US, NZ  and Australian passports as well ;)
  • I am thankful for the Vinyl Cafe – seriously good homegrown radio, stories like something out of the 50′s mixed with beautiful music. For Brits it’s a bit like John Peel’s Home Truths combined with a less formal Alistair Cook’s Letters From America! Ooh how I miss the late John Peel and Alistair Cook!
  • I am thankful for all the wonderful people who gave to the orphanage and have contacted me about helping Reece’s Rainbow!
  • I am thankful so many people found the 100 Ways To Save Money series a blessing
  • I am thankful for food
  • I am thankful for the safe arrival in Toronto, of my wonderful friend Fitzy’s new baby girl who is finally home from the hospital after a very tough labor and a few complications! And the greatest blessing is she shares my name, no I don’t mean Frugal Trenches ;)
  • My new friend Kim and her husband have just chosen to adopt a wonderful precious newborn baby who was born without a brain. She is absolutely beautiful and is their 11th child! I am so thankful they chose to adopt her, that she is doing well, that she is now eating and regulating her temperature. Please pray for their family including their new daughter Selah!

AND…

What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for nice weather!

  3. Praise God! Monroe has a home to go to and doesn’t have to face torment. Thank you for updating us on that. Hope all else is well.
    God Bless.
