The Telegraph has an article on the added costs of being single and how that adds up over a lifetime! This does not take into account the loss of an extra income, the cost of childcare on one income (if you have children) and the reduction in inheritances. Just one of the reasons it is important for single people to be financially savvy and understand how finances work!
