Today I have 1,999,999,999,999.9999999999 things to do! I’m supposed to be going away tomorrow, but let’s just say if I don’t get everything done that isn’t happening! Since I always find that lists help, particularly lists published on the internats, which therefore have the ability to shame you if you fail (heh!) it’s a good thing it is Monday
- Swimming
- Laundry (sheets)
- Make bed
- Clean bathroom
- Finish cleaning lounge again (unexpected visitors seriously kicked by behind!)
- Cat litter
- Clean hall
- Clean the sick from the cat which is peppered ALL OVER THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Dishes
- Mow lawn
- Email confirmation letter
- Post Office
- Write letter to aunt
- Write Birthday card
- Package & send parcel to orphanage
- Telephone my mum
- Decide on whether to go away tomorrow or not
- Speak to airline about philanthropy project
- Water plants
- Go & check on my veggies which may or may not be eaten by slugs
- Spend 10 minutes being a good friend & actually calling one of my friends
- Phone hospitals to see if there is any program for free surgeries for babies from 3rd world countries [seriously nervous about this, because I don't really want to cry on the phone]
- Phone Dr’s office
- Pick up specimen samples from Dr’s office
- Clean out fridge
- Go through previous employment files to return or recycle as appropriate
- Clean shower & bathroom
- Lay out neatly (!!) items to pack for “the impossible challenge” which begins in 2 weeks

- Go through handbags to donate to charity shop
- Pack “to donate” boxes and bags in the car
- Phone the mechanic since I had a little, tiny, minor, incy, weeny incident with my car (oops!)
- Clean out car so car isn’t an embarrassment as it goes to be repaired
- Find a way to fix my neck which isn’t so happy since the tiny, little, minor, incy, wincy incident
- Book, yes, book, the impossible challenge!!!!! (sent email, waiting to hear back for final confirmation)
- Put up the next 100 Ways To Save Post (post going up tomorrow!)
- Wash kitchen floor by hand
- Bring in laundry from outside, fold & iron as needed (not needing ironing)
- Send reply email to orphanage
- Email organization I volunteer with
- Phone nurse to get baby development recording books needed (not in!)
- Email previous employer for reference
- Request CRB (need confirmation)
- Finish child development plans I’m donating to an orphanage (for ages newborn, 1 month, 2 month, 3 month, 6 month, 9 months, 12 months, toddler, child) – this is a HUGE piece of work! (done a bit today, will finish tomorrow!)
- Remember to smile, laugh, find humor [trying to see the cat sick everywhere as humorous, right now, not so much] and take the time to see the beauty
And there you have it – I kind of feel a little bit sick thinking about all there is to do, like I said the shame of failure will make me achieve it all, or die trying

hey what happened to your new job, did you quit?
OMG!!!! I am not sure where you are going away as I’ve only just stumbled upon your blog but wow – your life sounds like mine, only different specifics. I have a to do list that long as well, that always – and I mean ALWAYS – kicks my butt! Had to lol particularly about the clean out car to not embarrass when getting serviced. I just had that, whoops, got in it to pick it up after it was at the mechanic 2 days in a row and noticed the crap I keep in my side door holder – especially the scrumpled up tissues I’ve used to wipe my car – they look gross!!!!! ha ha ha ha
Looking forward to reading more on your blog! Hope you manage to get to go away
Cheers
Good luck, FT! You’ve done it before!
Good luck with the To Do list! It looks overwhelming to me but I know you can do it.
xx
I am wondering about your job as well. Don’t know if you ever mentioned it. I know you were in line for a promotion last I read.
Good luck with everything! (I love the picture
You will do fine! Sending you all my productivity/getting-stuff-done vibes xxx
You’ll get what’s needed to be completed done and the rest will still be there when you get back. Just take care of what you can and what is necessary and then enjoy a break!
Like Bob, I’m wondering about what happened to your new job also and the promotion. I’m thinking these are different from your impossible challenge coming up. I will learn more I guess as you fill us in. Goo luck with your very long list. Knowing you it is doable but that project dealing with child developent plans sounds much more involved than an overnighter with a gazillion other “to dos” will allow for…..
oh you weren’t joking when you said you had a lot to do…..

The difference between you and me FT is that most things in my list never gets checked off.
