Sometime in the last week or so a monumental thing happened - the countdown to a million hits on this blog began! I started this blog two years ago, for reasons I will never quite understand. Many people have shared with me that they began their blogs to share their expertise [I, however, am no expert in anything! ha!] for others it was to gain a source of income [that never even crossed my mind!]. The truth is, I don’t know why I began this blog apart from writing it felt right, like a little drop of sweetness in each day. Two years later here I am, counting down to a million hits!

Congratulations on your one million hits! I found your blog rather recently but still contributed!!! I enjoy reading it because your life is so different from mine. I live on the other side of the world in a small country town raising my homeschooling family with my hubby and many pets. I’ve never travelled outside of Australia and find pleasure in reading about far away places and seeing beautiful photos of a wet, green place!
That makes me laugh because I thought my measly 10 000 was good and I gaveup looking after that. Congratulations on reaching so many people and no doubt encouraging many too. Cherrie
