I have a hound in a very similar position behind me. Today is very much a day for hibernation.

Yes, despite the fact I was out hiking at 6:30, swimming by 8 and then volunteering until around 1 – I have been hibernating since! lol

Today thats exactly how I feel, move over kitty here I come.
One of my daughters came up with the reason for the phrase “dog tired”. Just looking at our cute puppies with their eyes hanging out of their heads when the believe it to be bedtime terlls you why the phrase came about. Looks like your puss has the same need for respite from all the heavy duties of a cat’s life. Cherrie
So cute! Abs my kitty does something similar sometimes when it’s too bright out, it makes me laugh every time!
My cats do the same thing. It always makes me laugh – so dramatic.
My little Tabby is in exactly that position next to me right now.
