Weekly Menu Plan

Food bought at Taverner’s Farmers Shop just outside Exeter!

Breakfasts:

  • Pancakes with blueberry smoothie (I still have a lot of blueberries frozen from last summer!)
  • Bacon sandwich with orange juice
  • Yogurt with flax seeds, fruit, almond butter and orange juice

Lunches:

  • Best ever broccoli soup with crackers and homemade humus x 2
  • Macaroni & cheese with sausages and salad
  • Nachos with homemade guacamole, salsa, feta cheese and rocket
  • Jacket potato with cheese, salad, carrot sticks
  • Chicken noodle soup with homemade bread
  • Leftovers

Dinners:

  • Roast chicken, roast potatoes, roast parsnips & carrots, brussel sprouts, peas, yorkshire pudding
  • Stir-fry (chicken, broccoli, onion, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower) with cous cous
  • Falafel, cous cous, brussel sprouts, cauliflower & cheese
  • Broccoli soup with salad and homemade bread
  • Vegetarian shepherds pie with salad
  • Tuna & cheese melts with salad, carrot sticks
  • Vegetarian spaghetti bolognaise with salad, peas and cabbage

    oh, and the comment i actually meant to post… i think i need your help with cooking the right amount. i’m just terrible with cooking too much , which costs more and results in us eating too much! how do you manage 1 person cooking?

    I love your recipes too… sadly i NEVER have time to make all these wonderful breakfast things (it’s enough of a stretch to get exercise and tea and toast in before work) then lunch is at my desk so my food has to be transportable.. and have the time to cook a different thing every night is beyond me. Every few weeks i’m blessed with a quiet week where i can cook up a batch of homemade baked beans for freezing (transportable, cheap and healthy).
