April Plans

Tuesday night my March accomplishments were posted, it made me think about what my goals for April are! This will be a month of a very large move and adjustment to a new job, so I’m going to try to be very realistic! I’m very very excited about what this month holds and hopefully my goals reflect what’s ahead!

  • Attend a donkey caring course – sooo excited about this!!
  • Implement and succeed at plan sparkle!
  • Pack up all my books, kitchen ware, DVD’s and anything else & place in a friend’s loft!
  • House sitting for a friend
  • Surprise clean my friend’s house and do all her laundry (sheets, towels etc)
  • Move
  • Read Numbers, Deuteronomy and Acts
  • Read Animal Vegetable Miracle
  • Read Middlemarch
  • Set up a new budget (more on this later this week!)
  • Swim 20x
  • Eye Dr (to see if my eyes are the source of my headache)
  • Lose 1 stone (14 pounds)
  • No chocolate
  • Visit one attraction in my new area
  • Say goodbye to the wild ponies here (you know, because they’ll understand what I’m saying!)
  • Take my mum out for a day
  • Begin searching for a second job (part of a financial plan I’ll be sharing)
  • Opt out of the health record scheme
  • Confirm volunteering
  • Contact animal shelter to apply as a  volunteer  – cleaning cages, walking dogs etc at the weekends in my new area!
  • A blog giveaway to celebrate my 2nd anniversary blogging!

All sounds great only to lose a stone in a month might be a bit fast for long term keeping it off. Cherrie

I agree with this. Sustainable healthy weight loss would be not more than 1 or 2 pounds a week. I’m 40 pounds down but it took me a whole year.

  2. The Girl says:

I plan to maybe, possibly, hopefully, meet up with a fellow real-life blogger?!

  3. laura@mtp says:

Good luck ft; I’m so please you got a job {now you want two, lol} Back up north too :-)

  4. Frugal Undergrad says:

You sure have a busy a month ahead of you!
I’m very curious about your new financial plan!Although I certainly understand why having an extra job would be helpful, I must admit I had never thought you would do that… I’m sure it means you have some goal in mind, and I can’t wait to see what it is!

  5. Melaniesd says:

I think your goals seem attainable and realistic.
Best of luck to you with the move and transition to new employment.
How far away will you be moving?

14 stone seems a little high to me…

    • Frugal Trenches says:

lol it’s 14 pounds = 1 stone. Trying to lose 14 stone would basically mean I didn’t exist! lol

Thanks for the encouragement!! I’ll blog about my new location soon! It is very very beautiful!

  6. Wonderful goals for April! Can you surprise clean my house for me? =P But seriously, hope you find out what’s giving all those headaches!

  7. My goal is to have a shed moved and expand my garden into the area the shed is sitting on now, I hope the weather cooperates.

  8. Jennifer says:

Sorry I haven’t commented in a while, been crazy around here. That’s so exciting that you have a job and a move etc. I hope you are able to make the change relatively easy without too much chaos.

  9. Carolyn says:

Wow, that’s quite a list – how on earth do you fit it all in???

Just out of interest how do you choose which books of the Bible to read? Do you have a list somewhere? It sounds a much better plan than reading bits and bobs all over the place and never really getting a handle on the whole story.

    Happy Easter

    Carolyn

  10. GC says:

enjoy your day out with your Mum

the gift of time is often the best kind

  11. rachel says:

  12. Liz says:

It all looks good. Hope you achieve everything you want to.
