So much to be thankful for today and every day! This week, I am thankful for:
- A beating heart! On Friday afternoon I taught a class and was telling my students about a young friend & colleague who died suddenly from an unknown heart condition last year (we were discussing heart conditions, I wasn’t simply telling them to be morbid! lol). After our discussion, I realized just how amazing it is when our body does work and it is certainly something to be thankful for
- Plan sparkle!
- The amazing vet who hasn’t charged me for any of the appointments since the surgery! Out of interest he told me yesterday that in all his years of practice he has never seen a cat so badly injured by another cat, that the wounds were more like a vicious attack by a dog!
- The seaside! Need I say more?
- The four two rooms I’ve found to view on Wednesday! [had texts tonight confirming two are gone!]
- A new financial plan which involves a lot of sacrifice, but is a good tool for laying the foundation! More on this later this week!
- All the paperwork, organizing and general things to do I got done yesterday! I can not tell you how helpful Must Get Things Done Monday has been to my routine and life! I hope to continue them even when I’m working full time and encourage everyone to try to dedicate one day a week to organization and paperwork!
- A fixed car!!!

Oh that’s great news, about how things are coming together! Glad to hear the car is fixed and plans are moving ahead! It’s such an incredible feeling when we start to see those things with our eyes: “I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” (Ps. 27:13)

Today I am thankful for:
birthday gifts which mean we can rent a car this weekend and get out of the city for a bit.
good waterproof jackets (we are getting our April showers a little early)
improved social activities at work- I have enlisted at least 5 people for after works drinks this week- completely astonishing if you knew my workplace!
the long weekend coming up!
I am thankful that I got to spend a lovely morning with my husband today – that I am wrapping up my first spring session of online teaching this week – that I have coffee with the girls to look forward to on Thursday night – and that it is Easter on Sunday.
It is a beautiful day in Greece. I’m just happy to be alive.
