And because everyone needs a little Twiggy and Marks & Sparks in their lives!

I’m off to find a catwalk, which in my case is probably the upstairs landing (aka hallway!)

Yes I saw this advert last night and was loving it! Some how the things they show in the adverts never make it in to the Hull store though!

Mabel’s unlikely to turn up – she went missing about a year and a half ago! She’s the cat we had before Fred and Lily came into our lives.

Good old M and S! I miss them here in Canada. I still have some M and S clothing from years and years ago but it’s finally reaching the end of it’s lifespan – and a really good lifespan it has been! That’s another thing I miss about the UK – the clothes I bought lasted for years whereas here I’m lucky if they last a season even if I spend more and try and buy some “quality” stuff.

I too miss marks and sparks, in Canada, although we can get things shipped over now, so that’s good.

Here is a link to my column: http://www.edenvalleymessenger.com/lifestyle/2010/march/british-woman-get-ready-barbie-season

It’s in the Lifestyle section of the newspaper.

I miss Marks and Sparks too, we used to shop there quite a bit when we lived in England. One day hopefully I’ll get back. Really cute denim skirt.

Hee hee…now if only the temperature would nudge up enough to frolick about in a frock!

Ooh lovely, I have already begun a semi-regular nosy through their website in preparation for my trip home in May!
    I love M&S!
