Check

I think, you might have thought this post would be peppered with photographs of my reclaimed Simple Sunday.  Ha! Actually, today was peaceful, quite amazingly so (although since peace is internal, it isn’t so unbelievable!), but it was also a day of rushing around getting things done in anticipation of two interviews and three days away. So instead of strolling on the beach, I got things done.

  • Getting up this morning to realize you’ve left your suit for your interview a plane right away. Check!
  • Strolling through the shops, being reminded of just how much you despise shopping and finding nothing. Check!
  • Giving the shops one more try and finding a decent top that might just work with a skirt you have. Check!
  • Arriving home to find out the printer has no more ink. Check!
  • Getting ink from the computer shop. Check!
  • Installing new cartridges to find your computer won’t turn on. Check!
  • Going back to the computer shop and getting it fixed. Check!
  • Feeling ever so indebted to PC world. Check!
  • Two presentations printed. Check!
  • Job descriptions printed to study during train ride tomorrow morning. Check!
  • Hotel info, train info, directions printed. Check!
  • Bags packed with textbooks, presentations, camera, laptop, clothes and book shop book. Check!
  • Plans for the day in between interview. Check!
  • Lift to the train station early in the morning. Check!
  • Alarm clock set for 4:45 am. Check!
  • Feeling remarkably at peace and ready for whatever plan God gives. Check!

Well, there you have it, not quite the usual reclaimed simple Sunday, but just as blessed and just as at peace! I’m off now until Wednesday night, I am supposed to have wifi in my room, so hopefully will be back to do the normal Thankful Tuesday post and update properly at some point as well as check up on all of your blogs. But my apologies if I’m quite until then and can’t check or comment on your blogs! I hope you all have a blessed few days :0)

I’mpraying that not only will one of these jobs be offered to you, but that it will be one that will bless you and offer you the chance to be a blessing to others, and most importantly, that God would be glorified in all your interviews and in your work! Rest well, and may you have much to celebrate when you post again!
