My favourite Friday night pub – on one side the water, the other trees!
There is something all together grand about a Shandy with people you love…
And hanging out with pub dogs for extra company [there were 3 and I had serious dog envy!]
Saturday brought with it a morning making pesto vegetable soup! Which was absolutely divine!
As well as some sock loving…
And tree gazing
And now, more interview prep, booking the hotel to stay in (2 interviews in the same city about 36 hours apart!), typing out presentations, making notes, copying down directions and figuring out what to wear! After four months of nothing but leggings I’m slightly out of practice re looking like a professional! lol
I hope your weekend is shaping up to be a grand one :0)

Such a cute puppy!!!
I’m organizing the basement today – fun fun. Can’t wait to see it all tidy & neat.
Ooh I hope you post pictures! I love before and after shots!
Oh, that soup looks sublime–and perfect for wintry weather!
Best of luck with the interviews and getting ready for them! I hope getting to stay at the hotel in between them will be a nice little relaxing perk to look forward to between them. Can’t wait to hear how they go!!
Thanks Carmen! I think it will be a very relaxing break!
HI FT
Soup looks delish, can we have the recipe please?
My weekend is lovely so far, visit from niece and son and his partner yesterday, and then a nice quiet Sunday planned.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and good luck with the interviews. I’m sure you’ll scrub up fine!
Cheers
Judy
Yes Judy, I’ll post later this week! I think you’ll love it!
Haha the soup looks yummy! But that beer might look even better. I’d totally love to chill with you in a local England pub!
That’s awesome to have the pub dogs…..let’s you get some furry love!
Good luck with the upcoming interview—fingers crossed and prayers lifted!
You’d be most welcome ;0)

Well, I’m from all over actually, but I currently live in the south west. It is very beautiful with loads of beaches and moors!
Doesn’t it feel like spring already? Lovely looking pub, hope you have a lovely relaxing Sunday.

Hmmmmmm I could be wrong but I do believe I’ve been to that pub!
I was down in Exmouth for my friend’s hen do and we went kayaking/canoeing (I’m never sure what the difference is) and I could SWEAR this is the pub we stopped at before heading back to base. I need to go and dig out my old photos!
