Weekending

:: Attending my book group with the most wonderful tribe of ladies [I've decided not to go to my bookgroup sadly, I have a very sick kitty who bled a lot today (just back from the vet now) who needs a little bit of TLC!]
:: Spending time with the donkeys and perhaps visiting a farm! [yes, I may refuse to leave]
:: Completing a job application, or two.
:: Walking along a beach
:: Swimming
:: Hiking in the woods, or on the moor
:: Listening to Bob Dylan (link to a cover with wonderful vintage images)
:: Staring at the sky for more than a moment or two, in fact I may gaze at it forever
:: Playing this on my violin – until my soul remembers the feeling, sound, movements
:: Finding energy and bottling it up in a jar – I’m seriously in very low supply (the disasters of today didn’t help – more later!)
:: Praying, Hoping, Believing
:: Knitting (the most incredible nesting instincts have kicked in as of late…)
:: Snuggling with my babe who needs a bit of tender loving care…

What are your weekending plans? I do hope they are grand!

    I just wanted to pop in and say 1) I hope the kitty is going to be alright and gets better soon and 2) Just how much I absolutely love this blog, I’m not in my 20′s. or in England, although I did live there in my twenties(21-24) and it was brilliant, I am so inpired by you and your blog, your photography is amazing and I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the time you put in to this. Aces! Collette

    ooh give your kitty an extra hug from me- I hope that it’s not serious.
    I’m hoping to teach myself some more jewelry making techniques from my collection of library books- I’m loving this new hobby!
    Finish my cardigan sleeve from an embarrassingly long time ago.
    Go for a short hike.
    Prepare a Burn’s supper for my friends on Sunday.

    Sorry to hear about your disasters- I hope that they weren’t too awful!

    • Frugal Trenches says:

      lol they felt awful, thankfully they feel like a distant memory now. Burn’s supper in CA? I didn’t think anyone would know what that was? Your weekend sounds lovely!

  10. sandee says:

    oh, poor kitty…just thinking of her and you caring for her, made me want one…Wonder what my morkie, Bella would think?

    this weekend: chauffeuring to b-day parties, embroidery, grocery shopping, thinking about packing…

  11. Compact UK says:

    My two cats are sending get well strokies for your poor kitty, I really hope she is ok. It’s so distressing when your cat is all ill isn’t it :(

    Big hugs to both you and your kitty.

    • Frugal Trenches says:

      Compact, it was soooo distressing I almost cried. She was shreiking like I’ve never heard as the vet held her down and the blood. Awful. She slept curled up like a baby in my arms last night with her paw touching my face. Bless!

  12. Lisa says:

    Thank you for your message about M and M, they are completely adorable and have been insisting on giving me lots of attention!
    Snuggles to your little kittykat too, hope she’s ok.
