Yearning…

My little guy left today, oh how my heart aches!! I think he represented just what phase of life I feel oh so ready for and yet feels just too distant; at times further away with each passing day.

And to all you lovely blog friends who worried I was trying to accomplish too much this weekend on top of caring for guests, you’ll be happy to know I spend an hour curled up in bed this afternoon doing nothing more than snuggling with a hot water bottle! Much needed….!

I’m glad you took some time to rest, I was a little concerned with your list of things to do.

I have not read all of the past posts. Were you taking care of her for a friend? Why did she have to leave. Prayers for you.

      Hi Rita
I had friends staying with their dog! I would love to give a home to rescue dogs so her leaving hit me hard :) Thanks for your prayers!

Such a cute face. Very pleased to hear you spent that time on yourself today. I know you like o keep busy but with flu and the return of the eczema I must admit I was getting a little concerned there wasn’t enough time and energy being spent on your own well being. OK preaching over and done with! Just take care of yourself! Lisa xx

lol I accept preaching and you are right! Today was good, so hopefully it sets me on the right foot for the week!

    Good for you :)

Doing nothing is very much under-rated I think.

I’m sorry he is gone, but someday a little puppy may come to stay with you………I hope so. Glad you found time to rest! Didn’t your guests help you with some of the dinner making and/or cleaning up? I hope if people offer to help you let them!

Peace be with you, my very earnest friend.

I so hope you are getting some much needed rest and relaxation. God bless!

I’m glad to hear you had a rest. I know sometimes we feel we are doing nothing when we simply rest. But rest is required to recharge the batteries. It is challenging for me to get enough rest too. Today I slept in. I really needed it.
