21 Suggestions for Living well in 2010

  1. Drink water every single day instead of soda, alcohol or sweetened juices
  2. Get 3 fruits and 3 veg a day and enough protein, iron & calcium
  3. Be careful about what you put into your body 
  4. Exercise every day, even if just a 30 minute brisk walk
  5. Get enough sleep
  6. Have good friendships and relationships that are focused on love, support & joy
  7. Admit your struggles
  8. Allow yourself to dream
  9. Pray/Meditate
  10. Serve others in need by volunteering and helping whenever possible
  11. Live below your means
  12. Have a hobby
  13. Take the time to recuperate when sick
  14. Care for others
  15. Save money each month
  16. Understand the difference between need and want
  17. Take a yearly holiday/vacation
  18. Practice forgiveness
  19. Laugh often
  20. Give thanks
  21. Love who you are, while striving to be better.

    An excellent list, FT…At the end I remembered a funny Buddhist quote where a novice master tells his novices that they are all quite perfect as they are and all capable of quite a good deal of improvement.

    Love this list! I really need to get serious about drinking enough water and eating properly, and I’m sure practicing some forgiveness (on myself as well!) would not go astray.
