Lately I’ve felt the need to pause more, say less, feel what is around me - to experience life without the need to speak about all that is done or give opinions. There is a quiet grace found by choosing when to stay still, when to be lost in thought and feeling; a quiet grace that feels as though one is embalmed in peace when focusing more on the covert internal rather than the overt external. I’ll be back soon, instead of finding myself, my self is finding me.
Welcome!

Life is not always simple (oh how I wish it was!) but it is always rich and I hope this space demonstrates beauty and joy!

What a beautiful view, so calm and peaceful.
I love the quiet times at home with nature. Its a time of rejuvanation. The photo is beautiful.
That’s great and a beautiful feeling too. Cherrie
Fantastic post for the end of the year. Great, peacefull picture. Have a very Happy and successful New Year.
Enjoy finding peace & solitude.
Happy New Year!
I have been feeling very similar this week but did not have the words to express those feelings. Thank you for giving me those words.
Thanks for the sentiment. It is exactly how I’ve been feeling- those times when words aren’t needed and contemplation is. I’ve enjoyed reading your blog for some time now- keep up the wonderful work. Happy New Year!
Absolutely, spot on! Tonight especially, I feel the need to reflect on what has been, this year and look ahead to what I am sensing for next year. This is the first New Year’s Eve for over 25 years where I have opted out of a party invitation and feel the need to be quiet with my thoughts.
May your respite be truly rich. I am feeling much the same. Tis time to withdraw and “be” for awhile.
Enjoy this phase, FT! Maybe it’s just what you needed after all you went through in 2009.
I’ve been on a bit of a computer hiatus but I just wanted to pop by and wish you all the best for 2010 FT!
Lovely post by the way.
