Weekending

It’s that time of the week again when I delight in all things simple! This weekend includes:

  • Listening to Tarantella over and over again!
  • Surprising a friend with fair trade chocolate and a photography project she’ll love
  • Reading The Economist, Newsweek and the Guardian!
  • Putting Christmas carols/songs onto the CD player!
  • Walking in Haldon Forest and taking pictures galore!
  • Enjoying a Sunday roast with family & friends
  • Sending the last of the Christmas cards
  • Playing Vivaldi, Bach and Beethoven on the violin
  • Catching up on blogs on Sunday afternoon by the fire!
  • Quiet contemplations, prayer and thanksgiving! I have so much to be thankful for :)

Pictures will accompany the Reclaiming Simple Sunday post tomorrow!

I hope your weekending is lovely!

    Sounds great :)

My husband is away this weekend mountain biking so I am home alone with the kids. But we are having a lovely time lounging in PJ’s and eating chocolate.

May get dressed in a mo so when he gets home it looks like we have been more productive!

Just wanted to say, you know how I’ve been feeling recently but reading through your blog helped me feel more positive. It sounds a bit cheesy but you are an inspiration, however crap you feel you always look on the bright side. Thanks for that, and emails, and just generally being a good friend x

  4. Sounds very relaxing! Hope you feel better..
