When life throws you lemons, make lemonade!

I had cleared this WHOLE day to job hunt. I had found about 4 jobs to apply for,  each with the deadline Monday. It was my glimmer of hope if the job I’m hoping for isn’t mine (i.e. when I cry like a baby if I find out my dream job for my purpose driven life aka the job that is my purpose, is not offered to me in 2 weeks time). Well, of course my internet is down, the computer won’t cooperate and do anything other than play movies and the library is shut!  None of the job sites will upload and I can only get wordpress open and barely functional after 20 times. So what is a girl to do?

I plan to watch DVD’s of As Time Goes By (still no tv here, as you may be able to tell), get my notebook out and plan my applications for when the computer works, read books on finance, change the bed sheets,  and hope and pray that tomorrow all is up and running and I can get job searching!

While technically the internet not being up & functioning isn’t quite lemons, believe me when you are unemployed and on no income, it feels like it!!!!

I hope you are all having a simple and relaxing weekend!

oh don’t get a TV. They suck out your soul. I wish we didn’t have one. I hope we are going to get rid of it soon.

    A job will come up.

hope you are enjoying the lemonade!

So sorry things aren’t cooperating. Try not to stress while there is nothing you can do. I love As Time Goes By, that and a good cup of tea should help.

Here’s to hoping the right job just falls right into your lap. As you are trying to get work others will notice and a good job could come your way by word of mouth. As Time Goes By…….I’m going to see if our library has it.

You’re taking the wise approach because once you have done everything you can, no amount of worry will sove the problem. All the best with surviving the immediate future. Cherrie

Oh, you have my sympathy, been there and done that and it is SO frustrating. As you say, get the notebook out and get prepared though, hopefully the computer will start working again.

I take it there’s no internet cafes in your vicinity?

Eeeek hope your PC works today so you can apply for those jobs, if not have you tried your local library, they should have free internet access (ours does) x
