My apologies that I have been missing in action over the last almost 2 weeks! My laptop died for about 4 days and then I was spending a lot of time in quiet contemplation and preparing for some new & exciting adventures. I suddenly realized I felt slightly suffocated so I went for a long hike in Haldon Forest and walked all along Exeter Quay! Suffocation over
For those that asked, no I wasn’t too busy cleaning to blog, however I’m still 5 minutes from ready and it feels absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend it even though it was a lot of work getting there.
So today was back to normal, trying my best to enjoy a simple Sunday! Today included long walks, hot chocolate, a fabulous roast and I’m currently tucked in watching Countryfile! Thank you for all the emails and comments, I will be back later this week with regular blogging! Sometimes life simply gets in the way of blogging doesn’t it?
I hope you are all having a day of rest; for those in the UK don’t forget Emma is on tonight!

Good to hear from you!
Sounds like there are a few changes in the offing for you.
Hope you are feeling much better.

oh FT, glad to see you back and blogging! I was worried about you!

xx
Yay! you’re back! I’m claiming my first simple sunday in a long, long time today and thought of your blog!
Welcome back FT! xx
What a gorgeous photo! Glad you had a beautiful day. k

Cheers

Blogging should never get in the way of life!! Cherrie
Glad to know you are ok. Sounds like a wonderfully simple Sunday.
Glad you’re back- these new and exciting adventures sound intriguing!
I’ve had a wonderfully simple Sunday- movies from the Library (The Secret Life of Bees was a total delight), some seasonal baking (pumpkin chocolate chip cookies) and now a long awaited library book to devour!
I’m going to have to try and find that version of Emma- the BBC never lets me down with costume dramas- and Michael Gambon!
Glad to hear you are ok! Dont forget the amazingly wondeful LIFE is on the BBC tonight. If anyone ever moans about paying the licence fee I will point them in the direction of this!

Hello Frugal Trenches!
I want to send a big THANKS your way. You really are inspirational. This morning I was tempted to “fall off the wagon” so to speak. I really wanted to go out and spend some money, and not spend the morning cleaning bathrooms. But, then I thought of you and I was inspired to keep plugging away at the frugal life! Thank you so much!

Glad you and your laptop are back.
5 minutes from ready is a good place to be. I’m looking round thinking how about 5 hours !
I had a simple Sunday of being on the Vegetable Stand in the gardens at Wisley.
Discovery of the day – children esp the little ones love their height being measured in parsnips or carrots – the secret is they have to be giant ones ( the veg that is ) . Seeing their faces as the top of the carrot is taller than them is priceless !
( & to keep us warm – hot chocolate – so much better now it’s gone all modern and gets the frothy milk treatment ! )
Missed your posts FT and glad to have you back
Glad to hear you are still five minutes from ready!
i’ve missed you FT! but i know all about those necessary breaks from blogging. continue to be well! it sounds like you’re healthy and strong again!
