Sorry I haven't stopped by lately. Kind of taking a kick back in the blogging world to regroup with the physical man kind. LOL. The time to regroup has been nice.

Speaking of, I like your "5 minutes from ready" phrase. One could cheat here...at least in the living room. If you have an open ottoman or coffee table cubby. You throw everything, like magazines and the throw, in there when guest are coming. Hides the mess. lol.

Actually, the daughter and I cleaned out her bedroom and rearranged it (looks lovely now). Hubby and I cleaned out the kitchen cupboards (I really like to get rid of more clutter but he can find reason to use it once more - lol). I cleaned out the pantry and fridge. Cleaned my son's room and my room. Deweeded the garden. It's all looking good in time for company to come around.

Now, who could I find to come over for a nice dinner? ;)

In response to a post a little while back (in case you haven't already researched it), to renew your passport you need a passport form from the post office and a suitable passport photograph. (I daresay you need to write a cheque too but I'm still stuck at the photo stage.) Hope that is of some use.

It sounds like you've got a lot done! I try to spend 10 to 20 minutes a day on housework so I don't have to give over a whole evening (and certainly not a whole day!) to cleaning. Life is too short and cleaning is too dull!

I'm in the middle of a fall cleaning my self here. We are recent empty nesters & I'm cleaning out all that the flock left behind! Goodwill loves me now! Only half way through but is so freeing. I do things in spirts ..it did not get this way over night and I'mnot going to try and clear years of clutter in a day. It is very freeing to clear it out and the house feels "lighter"

Yes, yesterday and this mornig I cleaned out two closests. I also went through all of my clothing and my husband's clothing and gave 2 1/2 large sacks of clothes to the GoodWill. It makes me feel so much better. I also organized my clothes, pants with pants, skirts with skirts etc. Everything had gotten so out of order with my clothes.
