The day was simple, family filled (the family is down from Yorkshire for the week), joyous and reclaimed. There is nothing quite like starting the day with an early morning swim before singing your favourite hymns in Church, followed by an afternoon and evening laughing until your belly hurts with a family from afar, walking along the sea and splashing in the waves. Pure joy!

I hope yours was a wonderful one too! Oh and if you are ever this way, I highly recommend the walk from Dawlish to Dawlish Warren. Off to read Mansfield Park & enjoy these yummy ginger bread men my auntie made me! Yes, I’m 6 years old again and loving it :)

Great photos! I especially like the last one of the two people laughing as they run away from the wave! Very nice.

I was just listening to The Sunday Edition program on CBC yesterday and they were talking about how Sundays have evolved into just another day of the week. I was just on the website hoping to find the link for you, but they haven’t posted it yet. I’ll send it to you when they do. :)
