Last night was a tough night at the youth group; we had so many behaviour challenges, partly due to some new young people who’ve joined (who are, um a little challenging), partly the excitement of the first week back! I was in need of a little reminder of how to keep my attitude positive and my focus joyful! I found this and thought there was a great deal of wisdom in these simple priorities, and yes number 14 was particularly helpful!

On another note, this is Day 4 in a row of no spending…and I hate the fact I probably have to spend tomorrow! Oh how things have changed!!! And a big thank you for all the lovely comments on yesterday’s post, honestly I have a very basic camera and don’t know how to do anything other than upload my photos – no enhancing or playing with colours etc. I just love taking pictures and finding a peaceful story through the lense!

a good list. who is H Jackson Brown Jr?
I just ran my first playgroup!
How true that list is, thanks for posting it. Congrats on the no spending days, sorry you’ll have to break it.
What a great list! I’ve read that people who have faith are happier because they think less about themselves and more about others, they act, believe someone is there to help them and comfort them etc.
I may have to print this out!
I love this list. I really needed it today. Thank you! I just love your blog!
Great list. I need to constantly remind myself of #14!
It is a good list and applicable to all who have a faith I think (no matter what that faith is).
When you have some money or you feel you would like to invest in your photography I can highly recommend the Open Universities Photography course. I have just completed it and I really enjoyed it, it starts off slow and builds up. I now will never believe a photo again!

Your experience on working with new groups and the time we all need to settle into something new reminded me of the BBC TV prog on The Choir. The choir, like your group, need someone like you to be the ‘cheerleader’. I admire your resourcefullness in seeing it through.
