But you are here for day 8, 9 & 10. So I shall provide.

Due to problems with my camera I could only get photos of 1 days worth of food – why do these things go wrong at the worst possible times?!  So I’m going to make a hodge-podge of a post!

This doesn’t look yummy, but wow was it ever. Chili nachos from Mangos in Exeter – enjoyed watching people boat along the Quay! My love of all mexican food makes me want to move to the USA where there is so much available compared to little old Devon!

Yes and Greek food is pretty tough to find here to, thankfully I enjoy making my own :0)  Yes a Greek salad is the perfect dinner!

And just because I’ve really missed posting photos from around Devon, here are some from the last few days – pre-flu!

I could of sat & watched swans all day – this one and I ended up walking along side each other!

camera-phone-004

I love this little walk.

camera-phone-005

I love this bridge :0)

camera-phone-008

I just love my daily walk along these lanes!

And then there is my beloved Cathederal!

Thank you so much to EVERYONEwho took place, I’ll get to your blogs within the next day to give you a final cheer! I’m also hoping to get a little something together for each of you. Just give me a few days though as I’m not up to much at the moment, sadly!!!

So I’m going to just sit & snuggle with my guy!

  1. ooooh, don’t even get me started on Mexican food. I swear THAT is what will lead me back to America. Great job and I hope you feel better soon! I’m going to post my food on Friday! Today I went for an hour long bike ride, though and it felt great!

Salmon Tortellini, that sounds amazing. Kitties are the best to snuggle with, aren’t they? Our five don’t indulge me and my roommate nearly enough.

Happy Cinco de Mayo (yay margaritas and quesadillas with homemade guacamole).

Thanks for running FT.. hope you are ok… enjoy some time with your little fella!

  4. Looby says:

ooh look at that kitty paw, I’d want to cuddle him too.
Sorry to hear you’re under the weather- hope the good food and kitty cuddles help!

Oops, I’ve missed a few days. It was a long weekend here (public holiday on the Monday), and I took Friday off to make it even longer. Bliss! I had family visiting, so made it difficult to add my comments.

    So:
Friday – Breakfast was weetbix, lunch was a spinach and ricotta filo roll, dinner was roast vegies, steamed vegies and vegie sausages.
Saturday – Breakfast was weetbix, lunch was nachos (yummy) and dinner was soup.
Sunday – Breakfast was toast and jam, lunch was crackers and cheese, dinner was soup.
Monday – Breakfast was toast, lunch was a cheese & salad sandwich, dinner was brown rice, chickpea & vegie dish.
Tuesday – Breakfast was porridge, lunch was leftover rice dish, dinner was soup. (back at work – the calm serenity from the weekend was over by mid morning).

Walking and/or gardening most days. 2 litres of water a day.

Ok – did ok, but as usual, fell off a bit at the weekend.

I think the key is being organised.

FT – Sorry you are unwell. THe flu is going around here as well. I love snuggling up with my kitty too.

  8. Lisa says:

Sorry to read your health issues have been continuing. I hope that they can be resolved. And now a very bad cold on top of that, keep warm and snuggled and rest as much as you can.
Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers.
The op went ahead and I was able to come home on Tuesday. Tired and a bit sore, but glad to be home.
    Take care
    Lisa
