I’m oh so tied tonight so this is a quick post with the days food & totals - I’m working hard to keep myself motivated you see!

Breakfast was 1/2 a fage yogurt, flax seeds, a tablespoon of peanut butter, 2 big strawberries and 6 grapes all mixed together! I also enjoyed a glass of tangerine juice which was yummy!

For lunch I made Udon noodles with courgettes & bak choy, in a homemade Pad Thai & Ginger sauce. It was seriously yummy!!! Served with an orange. As. You. Do.

Afterwards I decided I need a tad more protein & dairy so enjoyed a piece of this seriously yummy Healthy Living red cheddar Tesco cheese. Yummy!
Around 4pm I was hungry for something sweet!

I decided to make my easy-peesy recipe for 2 peanut butter cookies, although I never cook them as I eat them raw. Seriously!

This time I added in chocolate chips – yummy!
And voila

Seriously yummy!
And finally for dinner I enjoyed my homemade leek & potato soup!

Serious goodness in a bowl!

Seriously amazing. Keep it up! (Not to be a dampner but just remember the first couple of kilos may be fluid and easier to lose than the rest.) All the best Cherrie from Australia
Well done FT! Your diet seems really healthy and varied and I wish I had your energy. I’m sure you will have good, steady weight loss that will stay off in the long term
. Sensible eating and exercise are the only way! Remember that muscle weighs more than fat, so if at some point it seems like you aren’t losing weight it is probably all those lean, toned muscles forming…
FT here tonight was the 2nd last ER ever. Uncle Jesse rocked it tonight and that’s all I’m going to say. PS DD saw your breakfast and was “what’s that”, she read what you ate and said “YUM”… Enjoy tomorrow, from the other side of the Atlantic, Sam
I’ve just recently gotten caught up on your blog, and I think it is great what you are doing. I love how you post about all of your goals and talk about the process of getting there. Keep taking care of yourself because ultimately your health IS the most important. I really admire how you are so wise with your finances and now able to take some time for you because of the really smart decisions that you have made. Keep up all of your hard work, you should feel really proud and confident in all of your decisions!
Love reading your blog. I found you from the SGF one. I was particularly taken with your ‘I Take Joy’ post, where you talked about all the different choices you made to turn a bad situation better. Very encouraging.
Also, did you ever think of posting your recipes? Particularly the falafel, peanut butter cookies, (I’m right there with you on eating the raw dough!), and the leek and potato soup? Please?
I love your soup bowls, they are such a lovely shape

Your focus and dedication are just what’s needed to reach your goal. Having sat around feeling blah for the last 6 months I don’t know how I’ll get myself moving again once the baby is here!
Mmmm…. soup. Haven’t had a decent bowl of soup in ages (been living mostly off take-aways in London – YUK!) so I may well have to remedy that later.
As a 10.5 stone female, I would just collapse on so little food. Your portion of pasta is TINY – please don’t make yourself ill over losing weight. The brain is affected just as much as the body by insufficient fuel, you know. With all the exercise you are doing, I would think you need far more in the way of carbs.
I enjoy your blog so much – keep it up.
Have you tried Faith in Nature products. My sons both had eczema and my one sons hair was terribly affected by this with his thick hair. I found the aloe vera shampoo helped him. I also tried the lavender soap bar and have found it is not as harsh as most soaps and the sore splits I used to get over the winter time have disappeared using this. I tried the Rosemary product though, but found this too drying for my skin.
Hope this is helpful.
Thank you for the wonderful photos of the sea – they are gorgeous. Please keep it up.
Great job ft! I want to encourage you to not lose too quickly. I lost 20 lbs a year ago (and have kept it off), but I really messed up my metabolism in the process and have to eat like a bird. Ha! Really, though, don’t send your body into crisis mode!! Good luck and continued success.
Hi FT,
This is my first comment here, been reading for a while though. Wow you’ve lost 3 pds in 3 days?? thats like great!! Congrats!
You’re doing a great job and you continue to inspire me to eat healthier.
I love reading your blog and think what you have been doing is great!
I wish you best of luck with your weight loss and is kind of funny since I too have been working on shedding 35 pounds.
So far have lost 23 pounds (12 pounds to go), but just wanted to note that losing the first 10-20 pounds was fairly easy, but as of late hit a wall for some reason (probably since I’m near my “ideal” weight for my height/build) and have yet to overcome, even with my rigorous exercise regiment and generally healthy diet.
Keep it up and love your goals and look forward to reading everyday!
Well done on the weight loss.
Don’t forget to eat either a wholewheat cereal or granary bread as you need the roughage in your system. I’ve modified the GI diet for my weight loss and can say I’ve eaten 4 good meals a day off it and not felt snacky.
Hey FT! I, too, would love to see your recipe for 2 peanut butter cookies. That is such a great idea. I may just have to play around with that this weekend.
And congratulations on your progress so far. You are off to an awesome start. My weight is about the same but I did get my workout in: 30 minutes on the elliptical machine and 30 minutes walking on the treadmill.
I’m still wondering where you are living – as it sounds like you don’t have any living expenses, but are sharing? Are you living with family? You sound very content.
I have read all of your posts and love reading especially about your food/diet/shops. I also have PCOS and am trying to figure out the best method to “get well” without taking the dreaded diabetes meds the doctors want to put me on. (No other meds…only metformin.)
I am very interested in your leek/potato soup recipe and the peanut butter cookie (in the raw) recipe.
Thanks in advance if you are able to share!!
