Photo a day for February

Starting with 2 today as I somehow made a wee mistake with trying to do a time delayed post.

We start with Liberty….

And end with Magnolia Bakery, NYC…oh what joy in every bite!

Pretty please can I go back? Not to shop, or do touristy things… simply to walk in Central Park. Gaze at the stunning architecture. Visit Whole Foods.  Spend hours at little restaurants with fairy lights. Visit bakeries. Do Yoga here. And end up being able to enjoy days spent like this.

Move To Portugal I bet I could tempt you to come with me?!

  3. LOL :)

I need no tempting whatsoever. Reading the NY Times every morning makes me want to be there, so a picture of a mb cupcake, might have me booking a flight!

Hi there-I could quite happily slip into this tempting lifestyle too!!

Ohh you’ve brought back some lovely memories of NYC there, not Magnolia but similar bakeries and the fantastic skylines/views.

If you go Sussex way every time, check out Infinity Foods in the North Lanes in Brighton. It takes up a fair sized shop and sells every type of vegan/veggie/gluten free/raw/other specialist diet food you can think of, along with enviro-friendly cleaning and body products, etc. Very ethical too :) I go there EVERY time I’m in Brighton, without fail. They also have a rather yummy cafe :)

  10. I am from NY (Staten Island) and I always called the Statue of Liberty my girlfriend. My little one cries out when we are on the ferry….look Mom, there’s your girlfriend.!!! I have never been to the Magnolia Bakery, but I MUST get there the next time we visit. NYC is pretty amazing. I HEART NY

I love the Magnolia Bakery! We went there on the Sex and the city tour, just divine!

And I agree with the wandering, I spent a whole sunny day in Central park just roaming and people watching, taking photos, its just stunning, NY is my favourite, favourite place.

LOVE NYC too. just walking. fave spots; Chinatown, window shopping in soho and sitting in cafes in the east village. fave thing I did – bought a picnic from one of those fabulous salad bar places and sat in a park, at the edge of the river (somewhere in tribeca there is a sculpture park with picnic benches) and our bottle of wine (in a brown paper bag NYC stylee) and watched the sunset and lights come up over NJ) very romantic. Also loved the Russian Baths (east village) and the boot sales (called something american) in the used parking lots.

ps. triyoga in London is brilliant for yoga. Many gret teachers; Robin, Nadia, Erika and many others…..
