So sorry, time has just escaped me – let’s see in the last month I’ve had to deal with a relapse with my mum, more work trips than I care to count, friends visiting for 2 weeks, a huge increase in workload and several more things I simply can’t remember at this point in time. I do think I’ve lost some brain cells as of late!
So, I have 2 more healthy living posts ready but I’m on holiday and not back until just before Chritmas. I then have a week to blog, so I can’t promise I’ll get around to blogging on holiday as I’m going to some pretty remote places where English is not readily spoken and if I do happen to find an internet cafe it would be pretty miraculous!
So, the best thing is to probably take a break until just before Christmas and then bore you with oh so many posts and Christmas wishes.
Until then I hope everyone is healthy, happy, in good financial standing and remembering when it comes to money & savings slow and steady wins the race!
p.s. Mary I’ve actually finished your home made present for our swap and emailed you for your address but didn’t hear back. If you email it I’ll post it at Christmas!

Glad you are ok,been wondering where you got to. Hopefully you will have time to relax and do some really enriching during the break.
Looking forward to reading your posts i have taken on the 101 challenge in 1001 days after reading your post!
Make sure you look after yourself!
Stacey

Have a wonderful Christmas. I look forward to the rest of the healthy living series
Hi Kate
I haven’t received an e-mail. Do you want to check and try again?
Mary
Have a wonderful time sounds exciting, making me even more wanting mine next mayish
Sounds a lot like my life lately. Why does it get so crazy at this time of the year? Hope you have a great time in your remote places where English is not readily spoken. I plan to be there too.
I’m really curious about these “remote places” now. Sounds fascinating.
Look forward to hearing more from you around Christmas time then. Keep well xx
Hi there-so pleased to hear from you and wishing you a lovely, stress free, relaxing christmas my dear!
You’re good enough of a writer that you should consider a professional blog at some point. You have a great idea, downshifting and simple living different enough from all the other frugal living blogs out there to attract a good audience. Both Trent (thesimpledollar.com) and JD (getrichslowly.org) went from part time writers to full time blogger.
Best part is you can live anywhere and be a blogger.
So glad you are okay. I’m sorry to hear your mum had a relapse.
Take care and Merry Christmas!
I just found your blog, and wanted to say that I really love it. I’m deep in the middle of my own non-consumerist Christmas preparations (must finish knitting sis-in-law’s socks before Xmas Eve or I’m toast!), so am finding writing time a precious commodity myself. But I’ll definitely be adding your blog to my regular reading
Sending love and hugs your way, hope you’re finding a little more time for yourself, and that your Mum is heaps better. x
I second Rob’s comments re professional blogging.
Look forward to hearing from you around Christmas time. In the meantime stay well and hope that your Mum is so much better. xx
life can be busy, and Christmas time is one of those busy times. Just post when you can, and a Merry Christmas to you and your family.

hey, girl, keep on keeping on. would love to hear more about work trips and general saving the world.
one thing i’ve found about the rest of the world – you can find an internet cafe anywhere! unfortunately, it’s always dial-up.
Hi there-Have a very happy and relaxing Christmas my dear!!
